In case you have not heard of Black Hat SEO, what it consists of is unethical SEO techniques designed to fool the search engines into placing your website high in its search results.

Black Hat, unethical SEO originates from the early days of the search engines when they were not so sophisticated and were easy to trick into placing your website at the top of its search results.

Today any such techniques will result in getting your website banned and blacklisted from Google.
